I have two questions. How did your cellist die? And how do you plan to reanimate him for your upcoming shows?

True story: after he heard you guys play, he exclaimed "there's no way I can follow that!", ran out into the street, and was run over by a rickshaw. We'll have to see if any of these guys are available: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IliwQImJr...

Nice meeting you and playing with you the other night!

Ever perform at high schools? I teach in the Philly area and would love to talk to you more about it.

We haven't before, but we're up for it – email Josh at booking@miraclesofmodernscience.com and let us know what you're thinking.

Any chance you'll visit the bay area?

Miracles of Modern Science responded on 03/02/2011

We'll try! Tyler's from Lafayette, so it's definitely a priority.

You guys have something really great here. Congratulations! When will you know about east coast dates? DC, B-more, Philly, NYC, or Boston?

Miracles of Modern Science responded on 02/22/2011

Why, thank you. Our next NYC date is 3/1 at Rockwood Music Hall, and we're hoping to put together a proper tour (including all the cities you mentioned) this spring. We'll keep you posted!

Where does the name of your band come from?

Awesome music, by the way.

Miracles of Modern Science responded on 12/26/2010

Thanks! Josh came up with the name and the acronym (MOMS) simultaneously. It's a fairly common (maybe a little dated) phrase, but he couldn't point to any particular origin. Josh and I were just an acoustic duo at the time, but we loved the name so much we figured we should form a real band to do it justice.

I lost my virginity to your guy's EP.

Thank you for your time,
Jackson Lewis

No way, us too!
